Challenge Soccer Club, Texans Soccer Club and Klein Soccer Club are excited to offer CTAP beginning in the Fall 2010. CTAP (Challenge – Texans Academy Program) encompasses numerous programs, and the introductory level is the First Kix Program, for boys and girls born between August 1^st, 2005 and July 31^st, 2008. Many professional staff coaches involved in the Challenge and Texans soccer programs have young sons and daughters, and understand the need for a fun and safe introductory program that will inspire and develop our children. We believe that soccer is the greatest game in the world, and we want to introduce this wonderful game to all young children, as well as the incredible soccer environment provided to them at Meyer Park thru the CTAP and KSC programs.

What is it? This engaging and stimulating program is designed to develop motor and social skills, improve coordination and balance, while participating in fun games that will often include a soccer ball. The program is directed by the full time staff coaches of the Texans and Challenge. You can view the staff bios on the club websites, or come and meet the staff on August 9^th at our CTAP Introductory Meeting for all parents. See websites for meeting details.

What is the cost? The CTAP First Kix Program costs $100 (one class per week) or $150 (two classes per week). The fall session will run from September 13^th- November 18^th (ten week program).

What does it include? Includes one or two “classes” per week, and a First Kix t-shirt. Wear tennis shoes or soccer cleats, as well as comfortable athletic clothes. Water/Drinks/Treats and athletic/soccer equipment will be provided.

When and where is it? Monday and Tuesday- 10:00 am- 11:00 am- Meyer Park #15

Wednesday and Thursday- 4:00 pm- 5:00 pm- Meyer Park #21

(Note that there will be several groups per class to ensure level is age appropriate. Child to staff ratio will be 10 to 1.)

(Note that it is important to register as soon as possible as classes may fill up. However, there is no registration deadline and we will add children at any time in the fall at a pro-rated fee if spots are available.)
