Coach Clinics

Coach Clinics

All coaches’ are required to attend a coach clinic and get their license in order to coach.   Each coach gets a 1 year waiver if you can’t make the next class.  We are currently offering two classes. The “Grassroots Clinic” and “F” Classes.

1. Saturday, February 10 – KSC Coaches Meeting.
Meetings will be at the covered pavillion by field 11. The times for the meeting are U4-U6 9:00 am, U7-U10 11:00 am, and U11 and up 1:00 pm. There will also be an updated “Coach Manual” posted on our website that will outline play rules, KidSafe, Gamesheets, and other pertinent coaching info. You will be able to pick up uniforms and sign up for a practice field at Meyer or Burroughs at the meeting.

2. Sunday, Febuary 11th – 7v7 coach clinic
Coaches – registration is now open, please sign up ASAP. Use the link below to register and if you don’t have a US Soccer DCC account please create the profile so you can login and register for the course. The course availability has been made public, and since Klein Soccer Club will be the first to host the course, I want Klein Soccer Club coaches signed up first and foremost.

Coaches will need to do the following to register:

Create a profile in the Digital Coaching Center
Under “available courses” watch the 20 min introduction to coaching video (this is free)
Proceed to register for the 7v7 IN person license in Klein

Lastly, please consult with parents and players from your returning team and see if 1-2 players can participate in the course if within the U7-U12 age group. Players are needed for the field session.
