- Registration Deadline is September 5th
- Free Preseason camp is August 17th, 18th, and 19th at Burroughs Park from 9 am to 10:30 am
- Practices begin August 23rd
- U8 players will play up with U9 teams
We're Proud to Introduce CTAP
Challenge Soccer Club, Texans Soccer Club, and Klein Soccer Club are excited to offer CTAP beginning Fall 2010. CTAP is a new program for U8, U9, and U10 Girls and Boys. Players will receive training two times per week with the professional coaches from Challenge and the Texans. Games and training will be provided at both Meyer Park and Burroughs Park. Most games will be played on Saturday with players having the option to also get game experience in the Houston PDF League on Sunday. Challenge and Texans teams in Kingwood, College Station, and South Houston will also play in this exciting new format!
What is it? The Training and League Play portion of CTAP is for U8, U9, and U10 players who are interested in pursuing more of what the game has to offer. Players are challenged with two sessions per week and then placed in to a friendly match environment on weekends. Weekend games and training sessions are coached by members of the professional staff. The League and Training is a great way for players to test the waters of select soccer, interact with the staff more frequently, and meet new teammates.
What is the cost? The CTAP League fee and the PDF (Player Development Friendlies) League and Training portion of the CTAP Youth Academy Program costs $350 per season. There are two seasons: Fall (mid August - December 4) and Spring (January - May).
What does it include? The fee includes: two professional training sessions per week, League Play (8-10 weeks per season), insurance, US Youth Soccer and US Club Soccer Registration, field usage, pre-season camp (August), one uniform (2 jerseys, 1 short, 1 sock), and a training shirt. Players will also receive an evaluation at the end of the season.

BURROUGHS PARK: Field 6 (Boys) I Field 6 (Girls) 8Yrs - 10 Yrs: Tuesday/Thursday
How do I register? Register online at www.kleinsoccerclub.org or you can print off a form from either the Challenge website (for Girls) or the Texans website (for Boys) and mail it in accordingly.
