RegistrationKlein Soccer offers a fantastic program geared towards recreational fun, childhood fitness, learning sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect. We are the number one youth sports organization in Northwest Houston. Read why you should choose Klein Soccer here. Online registration started December 22nd! Our fee is $130 until February 3rd, 2012. Beginning February 4th the fee will be $140. Games begin February 18th, 2012 and end on May 13th. Refunds will be given until February 22, 2012. A $30.00 fee will be retained from all refunds that are given.

- For children ages 3 to 19, we offer recreational soccer programs.

- U8, U9, and U10 players can choose from the options of playing Rec soccer or enrolling in the new CTAP academy program.

Pictures are taken on the south side of Meyer Park by the baseball fields. There will be a picture form to fill out and your team will be scheduled about 30 minutes prior to your game on one of the dates below. Photo dates will be:

Coaching ModuleThe Klein coach meetings will be held at the Klein office (covered pavallion if it is raining) on date to be announced soon.

U4 - U6 - 6:30 Wednesday February 8, 2012 at the Klein office.

U19 coed - 8:00 Wednesday February 8, 2012 at the Klein office.

U7 - U10 6:30 Thursday February 9, 2012 at the Klein office.

(U11 and up attend U7 -U10 if you missed TYSA meeting)

TYSA Coaches Meeting (U11 - U16) is Monday February 6th at the Hilton Garden Inn at 7:00. We need all coaches that are playing in TYSA scheduled games to attend this meeting.

Three Select Players Make US National Team

Three select players from our affiliate clubs have achieved the highest honor for players in the USA. Haley Pounds from Challenge Soccer Club has been selected on to the U15 US Women's National Team. She plays on Challenge 95. In addition, Christian Duarte and Michael King have both been selected for the U17 US Men's National Team. Both Duarte and King play for Texans Soccer Club on the U18 Academy Team. Congratulations on the honor to play for your country! We're all very proud of you!

 

Klein Soccer Announces New Soccer Academy Program, CTAP

The Woodlands Youth SoccerKlein Soccer Club is excited to announce the launch of a new academy program for U8, U9, and U10 soccer players. STYSA does not allow U8 teams to be formed. If your child is in the U8 age group, they must play up to U9. The program will be a new and unique league that stresses player development for youth soccer players from Houston, Spring, Magnolia, Tomball, the Woodlands, and the rest of the Northwest Houston, Texas area. CTAP, which stands for Challenge Texans Academy Program, will be offered by Klein Soccer's affiliate select clubs, Challenge Soccer Club (girls) and Texans Soccer Club (boys). Benefits for our players will include professional coaching, technical skill development, and tactical decision making. Former Meyer Park Alumni Stuart Holden makes USA National Team and Plays at World Cup South Africa!

One of our Meyer Park alumni, Stuart Holden, represented the USA at the 2010 FIFA World Cup. After playing for the Texans at Meyer Park, Stuart went on to play for the Houston Dynamos and now plays for the Bolton Wanderers in England. He joined the USA National Team in 2008. Read more..

 

 

 

CTAP and Academy Technical Skills Training (U6-U8) Offered.

After you register for the Klein season and wish to have additional training from a professional trainer, our select clubs offer Academy Technical Skills Training for U6-U8. Young players make great strides in their technical abilities with the ball through the Technical Skills Training program.
