Level 9 is a Recreational Referee Class, one day and you are eligible to officiate, all recreational games from age 14 and under, assistant referee on upper level from 14 and under. This class is good to see if you like the job!!
Level 9 to 8 Bridge, this class is for all holders of a level 9, one day class to upgrade to level 8 full referees
Entry Level Grade 8, is a 2 day class, you will be able to officiate most games based on your experience level.
Recertification Grade 8, ½ day refresher required for all officials
Grade 7 and above check with the SRA or Director of Instruction from the site above

At my referee in-service today we discussed new fees for 2009. These have been mandated by USSF not STSR, the fees well .........................................have increased dramatically.
Please note fees have increased 33% in the grade 9, 8, 7 re-cert classes!!!

In addition any re-certification class held after January 31,2009 (for 2009) will have a $25 dollar late fee attached. That would be 41% increase from last year
IN ADDITION ALL CLASSES MUST BE REGISTERED FOR AND PAID FOR ONLINE.........there will be no walk ins !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
