Youth Soccer Programs for Boys and Girls
Klein Soccer Club is primarily geared towards the recreational player that wants to play the game for fun and enjoyment. However, the organization also offers a wide array of academy programs, an academy league, affiliations with select soccer, and a program for special needs children. We are the strongest youth sports organization in Northwest Houston.
Academy Skills Training for Ages 5 to 8 - You must be enrolled in the current Klein season to participate in this program.
Klein Soccer Club offers Academy Skills Training for ages 5 to 8 (U6 to U8) through its affiliation with Challenge Soccer Club and Texans Soccer Club. The program helps players to develop their skills on the ball. Emphasis is on fun, enjoyment, and ball handling skills.
Soccer for Elementary School Children
For boys and girls ages 7 to 10 (U8 to U10), Klein Soccer Club offers a well-organized recreational soccer program. At Under-8 children play in a 5 versus 5 format with referees. Under 9 and Under 10 players move to a 6 versus 6 format. Klein Soccer's progression of adding players to a larger field as they grow older provides many benefits. It adds confidence at younger ages, and gives children a pathway to playing real soccer on the large 11 versus 11 field.
Academy League for Under 9 and Under 10 Players
Klein Soccer Club offers an academy league for those players looking for skills development and professional coaching. The Challenge Texans Academy Program (CTAP) is offered through the affiliaton with Challenge and Texans.
Recreational Soccer for Intermediate and High School
We offer recreational soccer for ages 11 to 18. At age 13, players move to 11 versus 11 soccer using the full-size soccer fields at Meyer Park.
Under 19 Co-Ed Soccer for High School
Klein offers co-ed soccer to high school students that want to put together teams to play for fun. Many players that have grown up playing at Klein enjoy this program to play with friends. Format is 11 versus 11 on full-size field.
TOPS Soccer for Special Needs Children
Klein Soccer Club offers the TOPS Soccer Program for special needs children. The program is structured to provide children fun and enjoyment with the game of soccer.
Select Soccer Ages 11 to 18
For ages U11 to U18, players have the option of trying out for select soccer with our affiliates Challenge Soccer Club and Texans Soccer Club.
